About the band
With LUNA & The Gents comes ‘Swinging Vintage Pop’ from Basel/Switzerland. Together with her formidable Gents, LUNA conjures up a vintage mix of swing, tramp, pop-folk, country and chanson. And with her strong voice, LUNA lends credibility to the own compositions and her gents impress with their rich, grooving sound.
The high quality of LUNA & The Gents is also reflected in the fact that all songs are recorded live in the studio. Instrument plug-ins and samples are left out (except classic tools such as reverbs, compressors and equalizers). Catchy melodies, captivating rhythms and high dynamics are the unmistakable characteristics of the always transparent sound.
