JE NE PEUX PAS T‘OUBLIER
A love story began 50 years ago about a young student from Switzerland and a young student from France – two people who met at a wedding, became pen pals and eventually fell in love. It was a time without emails and cell phones, when words on paper made all the magic. But the distance – both geographical and cultural – put an end to the adventure. An amour fou.
The autobiographical chanson “Je Ne Peux Pas T’Oublier” is the second single by the Basel-based band LUNA & The Gents. With her expressive voice, LUNA lends credibility to the composition and her Gents impress with their transparent, sensitive sound. The high quality of LUNA & The Gents is also reflected in the fact that the song was recorded live in the studio without the use of instrument plug-ins or samples (except for classic tools such as reverb, compressors and equalizers).
