About LUNA & The Gents

LUNA & The Gents are a virtual band project from Switzerland that combines retro charm with a fresh, modern sound. The project was created by Leendert van Stipriaan, who re-interprets songs from his earlier repertoire together with singer Evelyne “LUNA” Péquignot. What once existed as unfinished or unreleased material has now evolved into a vibrant, full-fledged band project that celebrates authenticity, groove, and the timeless spirit of pop.

The result is a distinctive style they call Swingin’ Vintage Pop — a blend of classic songwriting, catchy melodies and organic arrangements, shaped by real instruments and dynamic performances. Each track captures the warmth and spontaneity of live playing: no digital gimmicks, no sample overload, just genuine musicianship and emotional depth.

LUNA, known as the powerful and soulful voice of Little Chevy, brings her unique vocal tone and lyrical sensitivity to the forefront, while STIP serves as the creative engine behind the music — a seasoned songwriter and musical storyteller with deep roots in the European pop and folk scene.

Together, they channel a spirit that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new — a sound rooted in the warmth of the past, yet alive with the energy of the present. LUNA & The Gents invite listeners into a world where groove meets grace, and vintage meets now.
Retro in sound. Modern in appearance. Virtual in form.
